We went into Ikea to buy some cushions and came out with a sofa. To be fair it was in the bargain corner and cost £46. We'd looked at it before but failed to commit - it seemed like a great deal to replace the battered old sofa we've had since 1993 - what are a few foot marks between friends?...
Isla came home and immediately made new cushion covers using some work she'd done years ago... and bingo we have a new sofa.

You went to buy cushions and ending up buying a sofa for which Isla had to make cushions... Hmmm. Why didn't she just make the cushions in the first place and save you the trip?
