Last week we had an incident with a tree at St Mary's. This week it was gas pipes at Holy Cross. Apparently a car hit the gas supply. No-one was hurt but the church needed to be evacuated and the service was cancelled.It's all sorted now, but we should be thankful for all those who responded so quickly, and helped make the building safe again. In the meantime, please pray for those involved.
